Self-Intoroduction

My name is Takumi Tanabe. I am an English teacher at Keio Shonan Fujisawa (SFC). I am also the head coach of the junior high boys’ team. As an adviser for two girl students from Keio, Seira and Yukio, I will attend this TYCA program as well as Mr Narita, a math teacher. I am supposed to stay at Yoyogi Olympic Center two nights from the beginning. After that, Mr Narita will join it instead of me.
My hobbies are watching sports like basketball, rugby football, baseball and others. Another hobby is playing the ukulele. I am also interested in Japanese old folk houses, which is made of wood, clay, straw and paper. The structure of them contains, I believe, the hints to keep sustainable future of the Japanese society.
I also have interest on how education is conducted in other countries.
Let’s enjoy talking with all. Please enjoy staying in Japan.
I am looking forward to seeing all of you. Thank you.
